Pronamic Pay 6.3 – Contact Form 7

Version 6.3 of Pronamic Pay comes with a couple of new features and smaller maintenance updates. In this version we introduce our first add-on for the Basic license: Contact Form 7. Also, it is now possible to change the bank account or payment method which is used for recurring payments.

Contact Form 7 Add-On

With over 5 million active installs, Contact Form 7 is the most used forms plugin for WordPress. From now on it is also possible to receive payments with the plugin via Pronamic Pay. To make this possible we introduce the Contact Form 7 Add-On, which is available for Basic, Pro and Developer licenses of our plugin.

To create a form with payment fields we added several [tags] and tag options for Contact Form 7 which you can add to your form. You can use the tags and options to designate the amount, payment method and issuer (for the iDEAL payment method). These fields will communicate the needed payment information via Pronamic Pay to your payment service provider to further process the payment.

Update subscription mandate

From version 6.3 it is possible to change the SEPA Direct Debit bank account number or payment method which is used for recurring payments. If a customer wants to change the bank account or change the payment method used for recurring payments, the administrator of the website can now send a unique URL to the customer. The customer is then able to update the mandate for the new bank account or payment method through a verification payment.

If you want to use the new features, you can update your existing plugin to version 6.3. With a valid license key for Pronamic Pay you can download the Contact Form 7 Add-On from your account.
